Card: Bless Your Heart

This is my spin on Mojo Monday #334!  Unfortunately, the paper on which the "Bless Your Heart" is stamped  looks white in this picture when actually it's very pale blue.

Card: Wintry Mix

I love snowflake images!  I can't stop collecting them whether they be stamps, dies, Silhouette shapes, embossing folders or embellishments!  This "Happy Birthday" sentiment from Verve is probably my favorite among all my birthday sentiments.  This week I'm linking this card to Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #327 and to Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge which is "Ice Inspiration."

Card: Mojo Monday 315

The patterned papers on this card are from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Lavender 6X6.  The wooden button and the chippie button are from The Sweetest Thing, also.  That teeny tiny button on top of the chippie button is made by Dress It Up - it's soooo cute!

Card: My Parents' 60th Anniversary

Today's card is very special indeed - it's for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary!  I'm also linking it to 2 challenges - Mojo Monday and Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge.  ETA: I'm also linking this to Unity Friends With Flair.  The "Love Cherish Embrace" stamp is from the May 2013 LOL kit.

Lindy's Stamp Gang October

I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang Grab A Guy Gold Starburst on the orange paper and the orange and white print that frames the card.  I guess this is an apt color for this card - my Mom grabbed her guy 60 years ago!  :D

Card: Faux Cloisonné

I tried a new technique! It's called faux cloisonné and I used it to make the round medallion.  You can see how to do it in the You Tube video here.  Instead of using black UTEE (like in the video) I used regular embossing powder in copper (you just have to use more coats than the UTEE).  Also, I used die cut Grungeboard  instead of chip board.  A thick coat of Glossy Accents helps to give it more dimension.   It turned out so pretty...I'll be doing this again!  The sketch I used is Mojo Monday 214.
